Szymański - 1-disc album DVD

For the present DVD, we have chosen complete works from different Festival concerts, focusing particularly on those compositions which have not yet been made available to the general public on audio CDs. The ordering of works on the DVD follows the chronology of the Festival performances. The work of Paweł Szymański, one of Poland’s most eminent composers of international renown, had not previously been presented to the Polish audience in a way which would reflect its true value and importance. The Festival’s main task was to improve the public reception of this extraordinary phenomenon - Paweł Szymański’s music. The reaction to Polish Audiovisual Publishers’ Festival project, as expressed in press accounts and reviews, confirmed that the event had satisfied the general expectations and generated considerable interest.
