We will take a deeper look at what makes our organizations tick when it comes to online visibility. We will share examples of inspiring projects and discuss where "content" ends and "archive" starts. Be ready to take a deep look into your archive's soul and future.
Head of Information Management and Archives at the Radio-télévision belge de la Communauté française de Belgique (RTBF), the Belgian French-speaking public broadcaster. He started his career as a radio sound engineer in 1997, then turned to project management in 2007 before joining the Archives in 2009. He has led various projects at the intersection of broadcasting, IT and content. Xavier holds a MBA from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics, is a member of the FIAT/IFTA Media Management Commission, and teaches Digital Archiving at the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles.
Project lead at the Netherlands Institute of Sound and Vision’s R&D department. He has experience with cataloguing, film preparation and digitization issues and now works on a range of projects that involve search retrieval, user requirements and digital preservation research. In the EUscreenXL project, he is responsible for advocacy and network expansion. Erwin holds a Masters degree in Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image at the University of Amsterdam. He is also a member of the programming team for the Pluk de Nacht open air film festival.
