Aside from undeservedly forgotten musical gems of the Eastern Bloc, the setlist will also include a broad spectrum of modern electronic dance music, as the goal of the collective is to promote forgotten and lesser known Polish tunes (from the 1970s and the 1980s) by placing it in completely new, modern context.

The idea behind The Very Polish Cut-Outs is to promote forgotten gems of Polish music by giving them a modern makeover. Maciej Zambon and Kacper Kapsa, the duo behind the project, have been involved with the local electronic music scene for years, as DJs, event organizers, and bloggers. The music label they founded promotes forgotten smash hits of the 1970s and 1980s by presenting them in very fresh, remixed versions. In collaboration with their producer friends, the duo already managed to put out 14 digital EPs and a countless number of remixes. The creative energy of Zambon and Kapsa have already breathed new life into memorable songs by Breakout, Czerwone Gitary, Kombi, Krystyna Prońko, and numerous others. The output of The Very Polish Cut-Outs has been featured on the famous New York-based, Beats in Space radio show, on the Australian show called Noise In My Head, and Testpressing, the London-based web portal devoted to music.
