The whole world has been trying to understand (and imitate) the phenomenon known as Nordic Noir: Scandinavian crime dramas that took the literary market by storm, before setting their sights on the television world. What elements — aside from pouring rain, argyle sweaters, weary eyes, and neurotic detectives — are required ingredients in the Nordic recipe for success?
