NInA’s Films at the Kinoteka Festival in London

London is currently host to a Polish film festival. The programme features Ida, 15 Corners of the World, Joanna, Our Curse, a Wiszniewski retrospective and a couple of digitally restored masterpieces.

The Documentary Section

The programme features the latest Polish documentary releases, including a few co-produced by NInA: Zuzanna Solakiewicz’s 15 Corners of the World, and two Oscar nominees: Aneta Kopacz’s Joanna and Our Curse by Tomasz Śliwiński.

The festival will feature a retrospective of the works of Wojciech Wiszniewski, digitally restored by NInA’s specialists and released on DVD as a part of the of Polish School of Documentary Filmmaking series.

The programme is rounded out with movies directed by Paweł Pawlikowski’s, the director of the Oscar-winning Ida

Martin Scorsese Presents: Masterpieces of Polish Cinema

The festival will also host the Martin Scorsese Presents Masterpieces of Polish Cinema project, co-organised by NInA. It is a selection of 21 of Martin Scorsese's favourite Polish films of the 20th Century, to be screened across April and May. All films are brilliantly restored and digitally remastered to 2K resolution. The selection showcases films made during a particularly fertile and creative time in post-war Poland, by directors such as Andrzej Wajda, Krzysztof Zanussi, Andrzej Munk, Jerzy Kawalerowicz, Wojciech Jerzy Has, Aleksander Ford, Krzysztof Kieślowski, and others.
