Polskie Wydawnictwo Audiowizualne have released the second double album of the ”Polska Szkoła Dokumentu” series edited by Tadeusz Sobolewski. The publication devoted to Kazimierz Karabasz contains ten selected films by this outstanding documentalist. This year, PWA plan to release two more DVDs with films by Marcel Łoziński and Maciej Drygas. The records are available at EMPIK and TRAFFIC CLUB stores, as well as in selected bookshops. 

”I believe that the documentalist’s profession consists in looking for tiny particles, which constitute – immodestly speaking – the truth about the man. Close observation and collection of the details that make up life, can make one grasp this truth. If only parts of it, if only just a flash... If one treats the documentary film seriously, quest for these details is the only vital reason to take up the documentary. I cannot see any others.”
