Izabella Cywińska
Artistic Director of Teatr Ateneum in Warsaw, former Minister of Culture, director and critic. She graduated from ethnography at the University of Warsaw and studied at the Faculty of Directing of the National Theater School in Warsaw. In 1973, he revived the Teatr Nowy in Poznan. After the death of Gustav Holoubek in 2008, took over duties of artistic director of Teatr Ateneum in Warsaw. Awarded Knight's Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Polish.
Andrzej Chłopecki
Musicologist, musical critic, expert on contemporary music. Columnist with Polish Radio and the Gazeta Wyborcza. Academic teacher (Academies of Music in Krakow and Katowice, Polish Academy of Sciences). Member of numerous musical organisations, incl. Polish Composers’ Union, Polish Section of International Society for Contemporary Music, Witold Lutosławski Society, of which he is also a founder. Chairman of the Board of Friends of “Warsaw Autumn” Foundation, member of “Warsaw Autumn” Repertoire Committee, Programme Council of Teatr Wielki and Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra in Katowice.
Ryszard Grobelny
Mayor of Poznań since 1998. Promoter of economic and cultural collaboration on regional, national and international level. Chairman of Union of Polish Towns, member of 2004-2006 National Development Plan Monitoring Committee, as well as Board and Council of Foundation of Union of Polish Metropolises. Chairman of ‘Malta’ International Theatre Foundation. In 2005 presented with Gold Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland.
Wojciech Marczewski
Journalist, publisher and film producer. He studied literature at Warsaw University. Worked as a journalist since 70s, was involved in the issue of underground newspapers. Co-edited the independent magazine "Opinion" (with Andrzej Czuma, Leszek Moczulski, Emil Morgiewicz and Wojciech Ziembiński). Collaborated with the Workers' Defense Committee and ROPCiO. Directed Public Television on 17 February 2004 to May 11, 2006, and in the early 90s was vice-president of the Management Board of TVP. Awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Polish.
Jan Dworak
Mayor of Poznan since 1998. Initiator economic and cultural cooperation in the field of regional, national and international levels. President of the Association of Polish Cities, a member of the Monitoring Committee of the National Development Plan for 2004-2006 and the Management Board and the Foundation of the Union of Polish Metropolises. President of the Foundation, Malta International Theatre Festival. In 2005 he was awarded the President's Gold Cross of Merit.
Nikodem Bończa-Tomaszewski
since July 2007, Director of the Archives of Audio-Visual Records, supervisor of its transformation into the National Digital Archives (NDA), and assigned to run the new institution. Nikodem Bończa Tomaszewski is the General Director’s of State Archives of Poland plenipotentiary in the field of IT, and a member of advisory boards of Ministry of Interior and Administration, Polish National TV, State Archives of Poland and Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.He is a graduate of Warsaw University’s History, held scholarships from: Foundation for Polish Science, Ministry of Education and the Mayor of Warsaw.
