Italian-French-Polish crew is up for a Dijon Italiart Festival venture. Vincenzo Cirillo's "Artist's passion" being prepared by himself in Kochanowski Theatre in Opole will be shown in Dijon on March 19th. Polish premiere is dated April 10th and 11th, 2010.
"While Bodies Get Mirrored" is a group exhibition discussing tense relations between movement and space. Featuring artworks by Anna Molska, Paulina Olowska, and many others. The show runs through May 30th, 2010.
The short documentary by Bartek Konopka and Piotr Rosołowski was nominated for an Oscar. It took four years, much of which was research, to make the film about thousands of wild rabbits trapped in the space between two walls separating West and East Berlin. Thus the perspective given is quite different then the usual. The Oscar in the Short Documentary category was given to Roger Ross Williams for "Music by Prudence".
The Fryderyk Chopin Museum has launched its website www.chopin.museum. You can book tickets online for visits beginning April 6th 2010.
Folio Society Gallery is exhibiting "Chopin: The Romantic Refugee" at the British Library. Original manuscripts of several of his most famous compositions will be shown alongside portraits, letters and concert programmes. The exhibition will include rare historic recordings of the pieces he played during his British tour. The show runs through May 16th, 2010.

Bogdan Zdrojewski, Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, invites to the renewed Museum of Fryderyk Chopin. The venue is one of the most modern biographical museums in Europe. Its purpose is to direct one's attention to Chopin as a musician, and as a person. The Minister is accompanied by Gaba Kulka, singer and songwriter.
